Limited 10-Year Warranty
Oceansafe warrants that Structural Insulated Panels (SIP’s) Manufactured by Oceansafe Inc. will not delaminate due to adhesive delamination as long as SIP’s were installed in accordance with our specifications and code requirements. Oceansafe warrants that all materials used in our products conform to our rigorous standards and the U.S. building code approval system. This warranty applies to original owner of the structure built with Oceansafe SIP’s for 10 years. The warranty does not cover damage to SIP’s from acts of God, fire, water, flooding, setting of foundation, abuse or misuse of construction materials prior to or during installation.
Optional Global Warranty
Through a unique "partnership" with the American International Group (AIG), we have entered into an indemnification agreement with American International Specialty Company (a wholly owned AIG company), and now provide a "specified perils" *warranty to all our clients/customers, whether developers, builders, architects or other "related professionals" in the "first user" category. As the "first user", you can offer the unique security of our * fully indemnified product to your client/customer, the ”end user”.The primary “targeted perils” we * warranty to you, our valued client - Full Replacement of our SIP, due to damage from:
• Wind (velocity up to 150 miles/hr)
• Water/Mold
• Termites/Vermin
As a “developer”, you can access our Exclusive Builder’s Risk Program and cover
your panels from the time of purchase, to the ultimate sale of your property.We believe our product’s performance potential, may qualify for consideration in state tax credits and preferential consideration from your insurance companies, due to the unique qualities mentioned above, thereby making our products “unique”, not only in coverage substance, but additionally, in probable cost reductions to you, the “user”.
